Urgency
Matthew 25:13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. Most of us practically live with the idea that the sun is always going to rise in the morning. We assume that we will work today, the sun will set, we will sleep tonight, and tomorrow will always come. This is a natural rhythm that we live our lives by. The problem is that this rhythm to life lacks urgency. Matthew 25:13 listed above, teaches us that life in uncertain
Grace
Grace, we all want it, and we struggle to give it. We also struggle to define it, even though we have experienced it. Traditionally, grace is defined as the unmerited and undeserved favor of God. So, when Paul says, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God”, in Ephesians 2:8, the focus is on the fact that we did not earn this gift of salvation but that it was given or bestowed to us by our loving and gracious Heaven
