Psalm 100:4

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

God has been so good to each of us. I realize that sometimes our circumstances make it difficult for us to see this, but the reality is when we see the entirety of our lives to this point we can see God’s grace being poured into our lives. We can see God’s fingerprints on our lives. We have reason to give thanks to God. I am loved by God. I have experienced His grace. I am held by Him. My eternal destination as well as my tomorrow is held by Him. God placed people in my life that demonstrated His love to me, not only in words but in actions. I am thinking about all of those who poured into my life as Sunday School Teachers, VBS Teachers and those who loved on me as I ran and played at the church. I can see so many of the faces. Truthfully, I don’t remember many of the Bible lessons that they taught me, but I do remember their smiles through the years. I am thankful today for their consistency in my life. As I sit in my office today, I give thanks to God for them, many of them which have gone home to be with the Lord. God in His infinite wisdom chooses to work through broken vessels called humans. I pray that you and I can be a vessel that embodies and demonstrates the love, grace and patience of God not only with our church family, but with a community that needs to experience the love of God. The only way this will happen is if you and I become the smile, the hands and the feet of Jesus to those God places in our path. Today, I want to thank God for the people God has but in my life.
