Shannon Gilbert
Preschool Director
Shannon was born in Decatur, GA; raised in Forsyth County. She received a Bachelor’s of Business and Administration Degree in Finance from the University of Georgia and Georgia State
University. Shannon and her husband, Tommy, have a son and a daughter. She has served as director of the Concord Baptist Church Preschool since August 2004. Shannon and her family attend Concord. She also provides financial administrative support to the church.

Joanie Fowler
Assistant Director
Joanie was born and raised in Forsyth County, but now lives in Dawsonville with her husband and two children. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Early childhood / Special Education from the University of North Georgia in 2008 and has taught in the Forsyth County public school system. She has been the lead teacher for our 2 and 3 year old classes here at Concord Preschool. She joined Concord Preschool in 2014. She and her family are active members at Concord Baptist Church.

Mary Claire Dooley
Music Teacher
Mary Claire Dooley is thrilled to be our new music teacher and chapel leader at the preschool this year! Before this role, She had the joy of serving as a an elementary special education teacher, and has always had a passion for helping young children grow and learn. She is especially excited to teach kids about Jesus through music—using instruments, singing, and movement to bring His love to life in ways they can feel and enjoy. Mary-Claire and her husband are blessed to be part of the church family at Concord, and are extra excited that their daughter will be attending the preschool as well. She thinks it’s a gift to be part of this community both as a teacher and a parent! She looks forward to a wonderful year of learning and praising Jesus!

Rochelle Looney
Pre-K Teacher
Rochelle was born in Newnan, GA; raised in Woodbury, GA. She received her degree in Applied Graphics and worked in various libraries until she decided to become a stay at home mom to her daughter and twin sons. Her family moved to Dawsonville, GA 2010 and became active members of Concord Baptist Church. She felt led by God to work with children and started substitute teaching in 2016 eventually becoming Concord Preschool’s 2 year old Lead Teacher. Ms. Rochelle has taught a 3 year old class and is currently in her second year teaching Pre-K.

Lindsey Holmes
Pre-K Teacher
Lindsey is a Dawson County native. She graduated from The University of Georgia in 2014 with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. She met her husband, Chris, while attending college so they are big UGA fans. Lindsey has taught in an elementary school for three years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She has two children; Reece (7) and Jack (5). She attends Local Church- Dawson with her family. Her family enjoys spending time with each other and loving on their two Golden Retrievers and cat. She is so excited to teach Pre-K this school year.

Ann-Marie Arnold
Pre-K Teacher
Ann-Marie was a stay at home mom to her boys. She and her husband have 3 boys and are active members of Local Church Dawson. Ann-Marie volunteers in the children's ministry with infants, preschoolers, and elementary age students. She has a B.A. in middle grades education, but enjoys being with the younger children. She joined Concord Preschool in 2020 as a floater and stepped into the 2 year old lead teacher position. She has taught a 3 year old class and now she is teaching a Pre-K class.

Kimberley Yoniak

Kimberley was born and raised in Forsyth County. She is the mother of two children. Her youngest attended Concord in our 3 year old program and Pre-K program. Her family enjoys being outside, playing sports, or hanging out on Lake Lanier. Kimberley joined Concord Preschool in 2023 as a substitute / floater and stepped into the role of our W/Th 2 year old assistant teacher. She loves Jesus and is excited to have the opportunity to be the lead teacher at Concord Preschool for the 3 year old class.

Autumn Eckler

Autumn grew up in Dawsonville. She attended UNG where she majored in Psychology with a minor in education. She’s married to Brett and they have four children, 2 girls and 2 boys. They attend church at COTA in Dawsonville. She’s excited to join Concord as a 3 year old teacher and share the Gospel with these precious children!

Brandy Jennings

Brandy lives in Dawsonville, GA with her family. She joined Concord Preschool is 2004 and has enjoyed teaching each age group here at Concord. Brandy loves to share her love of God and Jesus with her students. When she is not teaching she likes to travel with her husband and spend time with her family. She and her family are long time members of Mt. Tabor church.

Sierra Pleysier
2 year old 3 day Lead Teacher
Sierra has a degree in Finance from North Georgia College and State University. She and her husband Aron have two boys who have both attended Concord Preschool. Sierra and her husband are members at Concord Baptist Church, where she enjoys helping in nursery and VBS. Sierra loves spending time with her family, Braves baseball, and learning about God’s Word. She is very excited about teaching the 2 year old class at the preschool this year!

Margaret Burgess

Margaret is Concord's "Grandma". She kept children in her home for twenty one years before coming to work here at Concord Preschool in 2009. She has lived in Forsyth County almost her entire life. Margaret and her husband, Mike, have two grown children and five grandchildren. She has worked as a lead for our two year old class and now assists with our two year old class. She and her family are active members of Concord Baptist Church.

Whitney Elrod

Whitney is originally from South Carolina, but moved to Georgia after marrying her Georgia native husband, Zack. She has a Bachelor Degree in Sports Management from Erskine College. She and her husband have four children. All but their oldest are Concord graduates. She and her family are active members of Vision Baptist Church. During her spare time Whitney enjoys cooking and baking, playing games with her family, and sewing. Her family is an open foster home. She is excited to lead our 2 year old classes this year.

Mackinsey Fields

Mackinsey was born and raised in Forsyth County and graduated from Forsyth Central High School. She was previously a young toddler teacher at Primrose School. She still lives in Forsyth County with her husband, Kyle and three children; Jackson, Jace, and Arley. She and her family are active members of Friendship Baptist Church. She is excited to join Concord Preschool as an assistant teacher and teach the children about Jesus.

Caroline Gaddis
Floater Assistant
Caroline was born in Forsyth county, but attended school (K-12) in Dawson County. She was raised in Concord Baptist for most of her life. She has a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of North Georgia and Piedmont College. She recently retired from being a Kindergarten teacher for the past 30 years, all of which were taught in Dawson County. Caroline has a daughter, Marlee, who attended Concord Preschool, and is now a student at the University of North Ga studying to be a teacher as well. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and watching her play tennis, shopping, reading, spending time with family and enjoying the antics of their 4 cats. She is excited to be joining the Concord Preschool family this school year.

Angela Ashford
Floater Assistant
Angela was born and raised in Georgia. She has a Marketing degree. She and her husband have been married for 21 years and have 2 girls, 19 & 17, and a 8 year old boy. Her youngest attended Concord Baptist preschool. Angela and her family moved to Forsyth 8 years ago from Sugar Hill. They attend Local church Forsyth and this is her 5th year teaching Sunday school to preschoolers at church. She absolutely LOVE the littles. Children bring her so much JOY. She enjoys family vacations to the beach, Disney… and some nights you can catch her family playing a good game of family UNO, Yahtzee, War… Angela love watching her kids play all sports. Soccer and Women’s Flag Football are what they are into these days.

Camryn Wilkerson
Floater Assistant
Camryn was born and raised in Cumming, Ga. After graduation she moved to Charleston, SC where she met her now husband, David. They have been married 11 years this September and have 2 daughters, Ashtyn(10) and Chandler(8). They are lovers of travel, but spend most of their days on the soccer fields and their nights being lazy, watching movies and playing board games. Camryn and her family are members here at Concord Baptist Church and are heavily involved. She started working at Concord after falling in love with the program when her youngest was enrolled in the 3's class. Camryn has assisted and/or lead all age groups at Concord Preschool. She is excited to return this school year to be a floater assistant to all age groups.
