Mission Concord
July 17-20, 2024
In Matthew 25:40 we are assured that when we serve as the hands and feet of Jesus to our community it is like we are serving Him directly.
Mission Concord is a practical way to serve the needs of our community. The specific job may be cutting grass, clearing brush, cleaning out a garage, painting a fence, building a deck, working with the disabled of our community, or talking with families in the park, but the real work is found in the relationships that are built with homeowners, the community and even those that serve on our mission team.
Listed below are the frequently asked questions and testimonies of those who have served. If you are interested, prepare to roll up your sleeves and serve our community.
When is it?
July 17-20, 2024
Wednesday evening, we will start with a time of worship & fellowship.
Work begins Thursday morning through Saturday evening.
What will we be doing?
There are two pathways that you can serve on, construction and community.
Some examples of construction are cutting grass, clearing brush, cleaning out garages, painting, building fences, and rebuilding decks. We will not know what projects we have until two weeks prior to Mission Concord.
The community pathways have included working with creative enterprise and community events with jump houses and crafts at a local park.
Is Mission Concord for everyone?
If you have the heart to serve, we have a place for you!
There will be a crew that stays at the church to prepare lunches for the mission teams and a crew that helps prepare dinner each night.
We will need runners for lunch as well as supplies for mission crews.
