Nothing Will Be Impossible Luke 1:37

Genesis 18:14 “Is anything too hard for the LORD?”

Jeremiah 32:17 “Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.”

Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Mark 10:27 But Jesus looked at them and said, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”

Luke 1:37 “For with God nothing will be impossible.”

We learn from the above verses that there is nothing that lays outside of the power of God. Our minds will struggle to comprehend the work and power of God, but my lack of understanding does not discount God’s power. Throughout the scriptures God demonstrated His power. Creation declares His glory. By the word of Jesus, healing took place. God has raised the dead and confounded the wise. His wisdom and power are unmatched in our world. So, let us find hope in His greatness. Is there any hurt, any sin, any weakness, any fear that is to great for God to change? The rhetorical questions answer is a resounding NO! My hurt is real and large in my life, but God is greater. My sin is described as scarlet, but God has washed it white like snow. My weakness only provides God an opportunity to do great things. The Angel told Mary when she struggled to understand how his words to her would come true that nothing is impossible with God. The same words are true to us today. Nothing is impossible with God. He can heal your brokenness, He can forgive our sins, He can use our weakness and He can give courage where there is none. As you think about the Christmas story, realize that God is able to do more than you can even imagine.
